PROVERBS 1:7

Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

What does knowledge mean to you?
Why is knowledge so important?
Where can we receive knowledge from?
Who has the greatest knowledge?

What is grace, mercy, and peace?
How can we be strong in the grace of Jesus Christ?

What kind of knowledge did Samuel, David, and Solomon have?

Being inside of the gospel, covenant, and knowing that Jesus is the Christ wherever they went.

Samuel's knowledge:
> Hannah's prayer: Who was Hannah? Why was her prayer important?
> Ark of the Covenant: God's word (1 Samuel 3:9): What was inside of the Ark of the Covenant?
1. 10 commandments
2. Manna
3. Aaron's staff
* Samuel had great knowledge of Jesus Christ since he was a young boy

David's knowledge:
> David knew Christ even before he became a king
* Heart : Christ;
Hands : World
> Shepherd and Ark of the Covenant - Samuel
> Anointed as King
> Prepared the temple
* David knew the knowledge of Christ before becoming a king!

Solomon's knowledge (Proverbs 1:7)
> Fear the Lord
> He had infinite knowledge of Jesus Christ
> 1 Kings 3:3-4
