PRESENTATION OUTLINE

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever present help in trouble.

Therefore
we will not fear,
though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.

God is with us

"I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation...I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:12-13

Why does contentment matter?

1. If you're peace-less,
you become a peace-taker.

2. If you're peace-filled, you're a peace-giver.

Contentment isn't the goal.
knowing Jesus is the goal

If you look for contentment by itself you'll never find it.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death -- even death on a cross!
