Kenya is located on the far right side of Africa
The equator runs right through the middle and Lake Victoria borders it on the right
Kenya is also bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, and Ethiopia
In Kenya, more than 60 languages are spoken and there are more than 40 ethnic groups. Almost everyone there speaks more than one African language
Because of the equator running right through it, Kenya in June- August, has several 100+ degree weather
In winter, southern Florida is more likely to get snow than Kenya

Kenya was founded in 1895 by the British, but at that time they were part of Somalia
Kenya was made a country so the British(ruled Africa) could gain a colony and move people from their overpopulated country
Kenya is currently at war with Somalia, a conflict started in 2011, over Kenya wanting to form their own country, it stills goes on today
Because of Kenya being located on the eastern side of Africa they aren't many slave descendants, like western African countries

Most people think of Kenya to be a small suburban country, it actually has many big cities some to be as big(population wise) as Miami, and Houston combined
In cities about a tenth of the population make their money selling goods at the market, which everyone in the city gets their food from instead of grocery stores
Only the wealthier is Kenya have running water, everyone else gets theirs from wells located every other mile
Over 40 religions are practiced in Kenya, but the 2 main ones are Christianity and Buddhism
