WHERE IT HAPPENS

  • It also may happen in cites.

  • Tornadoes form in thunderclouds.
  • Wind makes air in the cloud spin.
  • This forms a funnel cloud.

WHY IT’S DANGEROUS

  • The storms and cloud makes a tornado.
  • The air makes the tornado spin really fast.

PREDICT/PROTECT OURSELVES

  • A Doppler radar tracks storms.
  • It helps scientist predict tornados.
  • You can make your own safety kit.
  • Fill a plastic bin with things such as a flashlight, a radio , batteries, blankets, some bottles of water, a can opener, and canned food.
  • The shelter safe under ground there walls are thick there are no windoes.
  • This protects people from thunderstorms debris.
