A YOUNG PERSON SHOWING OR CHARACTERIZED BY A TENDENCY TO COMMIT CRIME, PARTICULARLY MINOR CRIME.
This shows a young girl getting her head shots for going to jail for a minor crime she has done/committed.

REFORM

MAKE CHANGES IN SOCIAL, POLITICAL, OR ECONOMIC INSTITUTION OR PRACTICE IN ORDER TO IMPROVE IT.
This picture shows construction work which represents help, and fixing for better improvement and work for specific things and places.

PROSECUTE

INSTITUTE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AGAINST A PERSON OF ORGANIZATION.
This is a picture of a judge which shows that a judge can make final says about what legally happens to a person when/if committed a crime.

OFFENDER

A PERSON WHO COMMITS AN ILLEGAL ACT.
This is a picture that shows that the use of marijuana is illegal of any kinds of acts in certain states and places. This can be an example of a person using or smoking marijuana illegally when they shouldn’t be.

CONVICTION

A FORMAL DECLARATION THAT SOMEONE IS GUILTY OF A CRIMINAL OFFENSE, MADE BY THE JURY OR A JUDGE.
This is an example of when the judge says someone is guilty of wrong doing when they make the final say.

INCARCERATION

THE STATE OF BEING CONFINED IN PRISON/IMPRISONMENT.
This is a picture of a jail cell in prison when someone is in prison/jail.

OVERREPRESENTATION

REPRESENTED IN EXCESSIVE OR DISPROPORTIONATELY LARGE NUMBERS OR AMOUNTS.
This is a p inure of a broken scale. Not representing weight, but numbers (too many/too much) therefore breaks the scale is an example I could come up for this.

MANDATORY

REQUIRED BY LAWS OR RULES.
This is a picture of a “drivers license” which is a law/rule about driving. You need to have it with you at all times and need to be the right age and etc. along with other specific rules.

DETERRENT

A THING THAT DISCOURAGES OR IS INTENDED TO DISCOURAGE SOMEONE FROM DOING SOMETHING.
This is a picture of a woman with a scarred expression for an example of she shouldn’t be doing something that she shouldn’t to make her not do anything.

DISPARITY

A GREAT DIFFERENCE.
This is a picture of our new president. Which can represent this word because every 4 years our president changes which is a great big difference for almost everyone.

SENTENCE

THE PUNISHMENT ASSIGNED TO A DEFENDANT FOUND GUILTY BY A COURT, OR FIXED BY LAW FOR A PARTICULAR OFFENSE.
An example of punishment is getting arrested for wrong doing. If you do good things, good things will come back to you, but if you do bad things, there will be consequences.
