My name is Juan Florencia and I am a professional academic advisor here at Western Michigan University in the Haworth College of Business. I am a husband to a wonderful wife and father to a beautiful little 2-year-old girl. I am also enrolled in the Education Technology graduate program at WMU and this is my third semester in the program. I am very interested in one day becoming an instructional designer for a university and I enjoy working with different types of media technologies as a hobbyist in my own time, mostly as it relates to digital photography and home musical recordings. I like to play guitar and write my own songs. I also really like to play fantasy games, particularly Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering, both by Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro. Currently I am running a D&D 5e campaign for a group of family and friends and I am really enjoying my role as the Dungeon Master! I also have quite a large comic book collection and would like to somehow blend all of my geeky passions into a podcast, if only for a few close friends and myself.
