  • Stalin ended up being Lenin's heir
1. They eventually become the communist party; created by Lenin
2.This gives Stalin a tremendous amount of power. By the time Lenin dies, Stalin had built a huge political foundation.
3. Because of Stalin's huge political foothold he managed to become Lenin's successor
