• John Lennon's first band "The Quarrymen" turned into "The Beatles" in 1960.
• He was born and raised in Liverpool.
• He got married to Yoko Ono in 1969 and changed his name to John Ono Lennon.
• John Lennon began a solo career after The Beatles disbanded in 1970.
• Then in 1975, he disengaged himself from the music business to raise his son Sean Lennon.

JOHN LENNON'S CONTRIBUTION

• John Lennon became a peace activist in hope that people would join him to bring peace.
• He started to make music about peace hoping that it would spread around for people to be inspired.
• John Lennon's inspiration has changed many people dramatically from all over the world.
