LIFE BEFORE WAR

• John Adams was born on October 30th 1735 Quincy Massachusetts.
• After graduating from Harvard collage in 1755 and he became a lawyer.
• In 1764 Adams married Abigail smith they had 5 kids one died in infancy

LIFE AFTER WAR

• In 1789 Adams finished second to Washington in the presidential election.
• Under the system of the time Adams became Vice President voters reelected the to men in 1792.
• Adams and Alexander Hamilton led the federalist who supported a strong central government. They opposed the democratic republicans led by Jefferson who wanted all states to have more power.
