OVERVIEW

  • Judges and hearing officers run the trials. When a jury is not being used the judge decides whether the person is guilty or not , when a jury is used the judge usually decides the punishment.
  • However judges work doesn't stop when they leave the courthouse, they must also keep updated on issues snd laws and most write articles on issues and outcomes of other cases.
  • Some are allowed to preform marrigaes.
