Joan of Arc, also known as Jeanne d'Arc, spent the majority of her life as a warrior and military leader. She was born in Domremy, France around 1412 and died in Rouen, France at the age of 19.

Joan found her calling during the Hundred Years' War when she saw visions of angels telling her to lead France to victory. Not only did she pave the way to France's victory, but she was also canonized by the Roman Catholic Church.

Jesus played a very important role in Joan of Arc's life. He was the one to show Joan that she could do anything she put her mind and heart to, which led to her many accomplishments.

Joan of Arc relied on God and the Holy Spirit to assist her in the seemingly impossible tasks that she performed. If it was not for God's influence, Joan may have never achieved the great things that she did.

One of the most recognized things about Joan of Arc was her immense, undying love for Jesus. This love can be seen when she died, burned at the stake, because she refused to give up her love and belief in God.

Before her death, Joan spent much time going to church and confessing her sins. Joan of Arc's great faith in God never let her give up on her calling to be a hero.

Although she faced much discrimination, trying to become a leader at a time when women were thought to be below men, she rose above the doubt and her faith in God never faltered, not once.

After being spoken to by the angels, Joan could not be convinced that her God did not exist. When Joan died at the stake in 1431, her last words were believed to be "Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!", proving that she believed in the Father with no doubt in her mind.

Her ability to look past all the challenges and discrimination that she was faced with, along with her ability to have God by her side through it all while she achieved these incredible things, was admirable.

Joan of Arc trusted God completely, and she was brave to the very end. We aspire to be able to love God completely, and unconditionally, just like she did throughout her entire life.
