PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Johns was largely left to himself as child as his mother worked a lot and his father had no interest in him.
His early years were not nurturing. James Jones had no friends growing up. He was lonely. He was neglected.
He was born during the Great Depression and was very poor and ashamed of his poverty.
His father was disable from mustard gas injuries from WWI.
Parents lost their farm and were unable to feed the family.
And his father suffered from alcohol.
Also, he felt as an outcast not only in school, but also in his own home
According to notes from Ms. Alper, people are most happy when socializing or being intimate with partner.
People said that when Jim Jones was a child there was no signs of affection like hugging and kissing. Contact that is very important for a kid because they need to have friends. Unfortunately, Jones didn't have it...
