Jethro Tull was born in Basildon, Berkshire, England. He grew up on a country estate.

He became a musician and played the organ.

Jethro Tull also became a Lawyer later in his life. Along with becoming a lawyer, he married Sussanah Smith.

After marrying, Tull settled down on a farm with his new family. Together they had five children.

In 1700, Jethro Tull started to farm like many others in England at the time. The knowlege of plants was very limited at the time.
