SITUATION AT THE BEGINNING

Jane is a little girl that is living with a mean aunt anther evil little children. Jane is relieved to be shipped off to school but the headmaster is a mean, abusive man. He is run off because a typhus out break draws attention to the school and his missbehavior.new headmaster is cool, Jane stays 8 years.

Extrenal conflict: She is an unwanted orphan who is tormented by her cousins and punished by her aunt. When they send her to Lowood school, the headmaster there treats the girls badly too. Jane is punished for asking questions and attempting to stand up for her friend, Helen.

MAIN ENTERNAL CONFLICT

Jane is in love with Rochester and engaged to be married but during the wedding she learns that he has an insane wife locked in the attic. She can't bring herself to marry him.
