THE WPA
The WPA was formed on April 8th 1935
The WPA spent 260 million dollars on the wages for workers in MN
4000 workers in MN were put to work in the first year
3 years later, 56000 men were employed in MN for the WPA
In November 1932, the WPA gave $8-a-week relief grants to unemployed workers
