  • A women can't be forced to marry a man she doesn't want.
  • A women has the right to divorce her husband.
  • A woman can be a scholar.

  • A woman can't be mistreated.

Role of Women

  • Improved the rights of women
  • Allowed them to obtain their own money 
  • Allowed them to have a education
  • Overall, as Islam expanded, the status of women became better.
