• Used coins for easier trade
• Their practices developed into banking
• Trade helped Muslim communities grow
• These Merchants helped with new knowledge & food

• Islam means "peace through submission to God"
• The Quran has 114 surahs(chapters)
• Ramadan is the Spring of the Quran
