CONTRIBUTIONS:
Sir Isaac Newtons greatest contribution to science was the laws of motion.
He discovered this while sitting under his apple tree when an apple fell on his head.
They opened up new doors into finding new information.
It also disproved any other theory's people had.
The three laws were law of inertia, law of acceleration, law of action and reaction.

CHALLENGE OF PREVIOUS IDEAS:
The church didn't love his ideas, but they didn't punish him for it.
The church used to punish scientist for the work they did, but not for Isaac.
By the time Isaac came along the church stopped the punishing.
So in turn he got away with it.
