WHY WE NEED IT

Makes hemoglobin which carries oxygen through are blood

RECOMMENDED DAILY ALLOWANCE

Based on gender and age. Children under 13 need 8mg.

CONTINUED RECOMMENDED DAILY ALLOWANCE

Women need 9mg and Men need 8mg. Teens need 13mg and 51 and older need 8mg

FOOD SOURCE

Iron is found in red meat,egg yolks, and dried fruit.

DEFICIENCY

Iron is the most common of the nutritional deficiencies,present in all cells.

TOXICITY
