2007, the U.S. Implemented a troop 'surge' which helped stem the violence.
U.S. casualties total nine hundred, making the year of the "surge" the deadliest yet for U.S. soldiers.
President Obama announces plans to remove combat brigades from Iraq by August 2010.
He announced that the remaining thirty-nine thousand U.S. Troops will return from Iraq by the end of 2011
However, the security situation remains tenuous as sectarian attacks occur in a nearly-daily basis.
Conclusion
We think that US didn't have good motives to attacked Iraq and maybe with another strategies instead of war they could solve their problems.
