What materials/merchandise is censored in Iran? Why?

Censorship is the biggest issue in Iran. It violates the people's freedom of speech and basically all of their natural rights.

Internet

• It is censored because they had a surge in use and it is an outlet to voice an opinion.
• Many bloggers were imprisoned because they voiced an opinion about a certain topic

• This is censored to keep Iranians from being influenced in the "wrong ways"

Movies

• They have a very strong love for culture thus leading them to change movie scenes where men and women are exposing too much or are even too close together.

• They have cyber police that monitor the websites that Iranians can visit.
• They prevent spying and protect the public from immortal material.
