The country is known as Iran
Iran is located in the Middle East bordering the Gulf of Oman
It is slightly larger than Alaska
The capital of Iran is Tehran
The capital is located near Baghestan and Karaj

Iran is one of the world's most mountainous areas.
There are two major mountains:
-Alborz: with the highest peak in Asia
-Zagros: that cuts across the country for more than 1,600 km
Two major deserts: Dasht-e-Kavir and Kavir-e-Lut
