iPad Care

Keep foods and liquids away from iPad

Clean with a soft, dry cloth

you can use a small amount of water, but put the water on the cloth, not the iPad.

Do NOT destroy the case

Keep the case on the iPad at all times
When an unprotected iPad drops it breaks when the corner of the iPad hits the floor. Our cases protect the corners very well.

Do not set anything on top of the iPad

The only other area exposed is the screen. Most breaks have occurred when something was dropped on the screen.

Charging the ipad

Make sure it is charged for each school day
You will get a feeling as to how often it needs to be charged, daily, every other day, hopefully more than once a week.
At least once a month you should let it go completely dead and then charge it to 100% without interruption.

Adding and deleting apps is prohibited

Follow school policies
Bullying Prohibition Policy and Internet Acceptable Use and Safety Policy

STAY OUT OF THE SETTINGS

UNLESS YOU ARE TOLD TO CHANGE THEM
Some of the settings will make your iPad not perform the way you expect it too. Change the wall paper and background. Turn off notifications, but for the most part just stay out of the settings!

YOU!

Who is responsible for the iPad?
You are responsible for the iPad, If it gets broken while a friend is using it, you are still responsible for paying the school for the damage. You should know where your iPad is at all times.

Respect others

Use the camera and voice recorder responsibly
Ask before taking photos, videos, or voice recordings of other people, they may not want to be recorded.

BATHROOMS AND LOCKER ROOMS

Do not take iPads into
Also at home, as a parent, you should have them use the iPad in a central location and not their bedrooms so you can keep an eye on their activity to ensure they are using the iPad appropriately. At school we have a firewall and filters to keep them from going to bad sites, but once they are at home it is up to you to monitor their activity.

ipads are for student educational use

Not the whole family!
