  • In this lesson I will choose to present to you the Country of Cuba!
  • Since its my birth place I will give some facts about Cuba including food, music, and religion

Cuba

  • Cuba is an island country in the Caribbean consisting of the main island of Cuba, the Isla de la Juventud, and several archipelagos.
  • Its nearest neighbors are the United States, Bahamas, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. Cuba is tropical and mostly flat with mountains in the southeast.
  • Can you believe that Cuba is 90 miles away from Key west!

Music

  • Cuban music has been immensely influential in other countries, contributing not only to the development of jazzand salsa, but also to Argentinian tango, Ghanaian high-life, West African Afrobeat, and Spanish "nuevo flamenco".
