CH 1-3

• Talks about dakota meyers aka main characters home life
• lived on a farm with big mike his adoptive father aka mike meyer
• Went to boot camp training to be a marine first in family to do so
• Arrives at his first station in Afghanistan in summer of 2009 called monti

CH 4-6

• Hard time trying to impress Lt. Johnson trying to prove him self in the field
• They are complaining about there time in combat and are brought together
• Under attack with rockets from afghan troops

CH 7-9

• Ganjigal ignited fuel fire inside joyce were they mored there afghan company
• They venture into the vally at night for saftey of transportation
• Having a hard time entering the vally no one at base will approve it

CH 10-12

• They are in the vally pretty deep and solved there problems
• Ambushed dakotas friends are getting shot intense battle
• EVeryone is getting back together checking the wounded and pushing foward into battle

CH 13-15

• Fox 3-3 wants to go back to ganjigal not a safe idea
• Everyone being taken out by helicopters gear and ammo stolen😁
• Finally get to ganjigel after the talibans ambushed them and the village

CH 16-18

• Everyone is traumatized dakota is keeping busy but the psychologist is concered
• Dakota gets home! Back in Kentucky he said "it felt like he landed on the moon"
• The white house invites him as a guest of honor to recive the medal of honor

REQUIERMENTS TO JOIN THE US MARINES

• You mest have a college education
• You need a clean record minor charges will not count against you
• You are exspected to be mentally and physically fit for boot camp and on duty work

REQUIERMENTS

• Ages 17-29 are the average marine ages for males and females
• Males need to be 58-78 inches tall with less than 18% body fat
• Females need to be 58-72 inches tall with no less than 26% body fat
