THE MAIN IDEA OF INTERACTIONISTS
- They try to see how individuals react
- How do individuals react to each other?
- They attach the meaning to their actions and to the actions of others.

- Conflict perspective shows how people with money and power are controlled by other people with money and power

- Conflict perspective is a theory that promotes competition and change.
- They study both violent and non violent
- Based off of scarcity of resources competition for power/money/food ect.
FUNCTIONALIST PERSPECTIVE
- Beliefs society is held together by majorities consensus
- Two views of a functionist view of society is functional(helps run smoother) dis functional (disruptive)
FUNCTIONAL EXAMPLES
- Functional farming, enforcing law, education
- Dysfunctional crime,jobs which serve only to gain profit, ignorance
