  • Waterproof Epidermis
  • Keeps oils in to help skin stay moist
  • Regulates Tempture
  • Skin is the sense

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

  • Function: get oxygen from environment and remove carbon dioxide from the body
  • Trachea: tube that lets air in and out
  • Lungs with alveoli ­ two large organs with alveoli. Alveoli collect oxygen and get rid of carbon dioxide.
  • Diaphragm: a muscle that allows the lungs to expand
