For some insects their exoskeleton is why they thrive. Their exoskeleton gives them a way to protect themselves and it makes it harder for them to be crushed

Antenna also help insects thrive. Their antenna gives them a way to move around and check out their surroundings

Insects adapt to the environment because as the world evolves so do they and the more they need to learn how to survive and once they adapt to one environment they can go any were they please because there are so many other places with that environment

Reproduction is a way they can spread their species and thrive. This also helps them not go extinct.

I learned that Madagascar hissing cockroaches have poor eyesight, so they need their antenna to move and sense their surroundings. I also learned that their legs are sticky, because they use their sticky legs to grab things and it helps them to not fall from high places .

Something I found out about mealworms is that the eat styrofoam. And that some people believe that they could be used help to decompose it to help the environment.
