WHAT IS IT?

  • Infrared is the spectrum of light just outside
  • our visible range. It uses less energy
  • and has longer wavelengths.

History
Infrared was discovered by William Herschel when he put a thermometer next to a prism and measured the temperature of various colors of light.

HOW INFRARED CAN BE DANGEROUS

  • The main danger of too much infrared to human beings is overheating
  • The radiations also cause dehydration, a depletion of electrolytes, mobilizing toxins around the body and complicating pre existing illnesses
