I'm interested with this career because I like computers. Also, my dad works for information technology. I learned about is job since I actually cared about money which was 3 years ago. Being a project manager sparked an interest in my brain.

The fun thing about being a project manager is that you can work from home. This means that you don't need a cubicle or a special office. These may help but a computer is pretty much the thing that you need the most. Your job may get you your own computer and phone. Sometimes you can be called to work for 3 or more days which means you have to take a plane somewhere. Your clothes can be anything as long as its formal. This job is very comfortable because you get to stay in a hotel room or right at home.

Project managers don't need to wear a certain outfit but as long as they wear formal for the project they are doing, it's fine.
The average hours per week a project manager works is 50.3. This is for more of the experienced project managers.
Basically project managers do most of their day is: put together the team, organize what's going to happen, lead the team, manage money, and make decisions.

The specific duties of a project manager vary from industry to industry, company to company, and sometimes even from project to project. But basically all they need to do is the planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. The main tool a project manager will use is his or her computer. He/she will work on their computer from home and do their "homework"

According to a 2014 report by the Anderson Economic Group, an average of 1.5 million project management positions will need to be filled each year through 2025. It is fairly easy to get this job because all of these new positions opening up.

I would definitely consider this job in my future. I love spending time on computers and traveling seems pretty cool. Whenever I'm not traveling, it is fun to stay home with my family and work from there. It is not one of those jobs that gets you little money like McDonalds.
