By definition healthcare is the mantaining and restoration of health by the treatment and prevention of diseases.

Healthcare also includes:

  • Overall physical, social, and mental health status
  • Prevention of disease and disability
  • Detection and treatment of health conditions
  • Quality of life and life expectancy
  • Diseases prevention and detection
