PRESENTATION OUTLINE

INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION PROJECT

BY RYAN RICH

LONG WORK DAYS AND WEEKS

  • Adults worked for long days for weeks that got very tiring.

THE PRACTICE OF FACTORY OWNERS BUYING CHILDREN

  • Factory owners bought children from orphanages.
  • They were used in the factorys for work because of free pay.
  • They were also capable of doing tasks adults couldn't do.

BOREDOM OF EVERY DAY FACTORY WORK

Working for long hours for weeks straight not only was very tiring, but got very boring because it got very repetitive and you were forced to do it constantly.

Physical Dangers of working in a factory

  • There were faulty machines causing injury.
  • There were also health issues due to exhaustion.
  • 12-16 hour shifts without break also caused problems.

Overall factory work was not something you would want to be doing everyday because it was brutal and not worth the pay or risk or putting yourself in harm. But then also they didn't have a choice and had to feed and support there families.
