  • It effected the economy by transporting goods or products

COTTON GIN

  • Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin
  • In 1793
  • It helped the slaves jobs much easier than before, because before
  • The cotton gin was invented the slaves were picking the seeds with their hands, but
  • now the cotton gin picks the seeds

INTERCHANGEABLE PARTS

  • Eli Whitney invented it in 1798
  • Eli Whitney used them to assemble muskets in the first years of the 19th century, allowed relatively unskilled
  • Workers to produce large numbers of weapons
  • quickly and at lower cost, and made repair and replacement of parts infinitely easier

BESSEMER STEEL PROCESS

  • It was invented by Henry Bessemer in 1855
  • A lot more steel was made and at a faster rate

MECHANICAL REAPER

  • It was invented by Cyrus McCormick in 1831
  • It helped farmers by harvesting grain faster

TELEGRAPH

  • It was invented by Samuel Morse in 1847
  • It helped a lot with transportation and it helped deliver messages

SEWING MACHINE

  • It was invented by Thomas Saint in 1790
  • I helped by sewing clothes together and it was made faster than by hand
  • Since it only took one person to use the sewing machine a lot of people had to lose their jobs

STEAM LOCOMOTIVE

  • It was invented by George Stephenson in1814
  • It helped by getting things across states faster than by wagon or horseback

STEEL TIPPED PLOW

  • It was invented by John Deere in 1837
  • It helped by getting more land plowed
