Industrial Revolution

Alexis Hernandez

The industrial revolution was from around 1750-1900s

The Revolution led to many things, it led to us doing what we're currently doing now.

Although, going through the entire process did lead to some unfortunate events, they eventually got past them and made it better.

Before the Industrial Revolution, mostly everyone were farmers because they didn't want to starve, and didn't want the community to starve either.

Not as many people were farmers and that was because the Industrial Revolution, the Revolution brought out machines to do peoples jobs.

During the time, the population grew very big, and there were problems with the overcrowded cities. That meant that people's homes were built poorly, it was in nasty condition.

Since they wanted so many things processed at the same time, they hired young children that were seven and a little older. The factory conditions were horrible and sometimes the children would die. Women had a hard time working in factories because they were used to just doing land work and staying at home.

There were so many things wrong with the Industrial Revolution but there were many great inventions built along the way. So eventually, the cities had to be renewed and restored. The citizens did demand for change.

Cities were renewed, homes were built nicely, children were free, factory conditions were more than great, the amount people got payed was better than ever, everything had changed for the better.

In conclusion, the Industrial Revolution did cause many bad things, but it did lead to wonderful inventions that still exist today and are very much useful. They have improved the way we all live today.
