SUMMARY

  • The Indus River Valley was one of the most peaceful civilizations in ancient times. It survived from about 5000 B.C.E. to 530 B.C.E. There was almost no evidence of weaponry or war on the site of this civilization. The first and biggest two cities in the Indus river valley were Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. These two cities were very advanced for their time.

  • Would our society be any more advanced if we had found out about the ruins earlier?
