Who are they?
Indigo children are said to be the new class of reincarnated souls. Each child comes with a higher level of creativity and intelligence unlike generations before them. Wisdom and an empathetic attitude beyond their years are common indications.
In the 1970s, Nancy Anne Tappe, who is known for her aura seeing abilities, began to see the new color of indigo around certain children.
After the initial wave of the Indigo children in the '70s passed, the the. Indigo children movement did not go full-swing until 1999, when husband and wife authors Jan Tober and Lee Carroll wrote "Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived". There, they wrote the tell tale signs of the indigo child and how to differentiate them.
While there is no scientific evidence of Indigo children, all of the traits said to determine indigo children are general enough to lead Tappe into saying that 90% of all children are " Indigo children".
