SHORT HISTORY
The Indus Valley Civilization in habited the subcontinent from 2600 B.C to 2000 B.C
Buddhism was founded in the 6th century and was spread throughout northern India
In 1526, Muslim invaders founded the great Mogul Empire, which lasted, at least in name, until 1857
The Bronze Age in the Indian subcontinent dates back to around 3300 BCE.
The Aryans were the first to invade the country.
