- In india the two main cultires are Hinduism and Buddhism
- Hindu religion has a caste system (heirarchy) but in buddhism all are equal
- Buddhism and hinduism were both founded in india
- Buddhism and hinduism have both been spread by cultural diffusion

- Vaishya: They are the farmers and merchants
- Sudra: They are the servants
- Untouchables: They are the removed caste
