  • Inca land stretched 2,500 miles.
  • Along andean mountions from Columbia to Chile.
  • Capital was located in Peru in a city called Cuzco.

INCA SOCIETY

  • Made up of Ayllus which were clans or famalies who worked and lived together.
  • Each Ayllus had a Chief.

SOCIAL STRUCTURE

  • Sapa Inca
  • Coyas

RELIGION

  • Initi- the sun god.
  • Sapa Inca was the child of the sun.

CULTURAL ACHIEVEMENTS

ARTS

  • Wooding carvings.
  • Ceramics.
  • Textiles.

ARCHITECTURE

  • Inherited an Architectural legacy from Tiwanuku.
  • Cuzco still contains remains.

CITIES

MACHU PIKCHU

  • 7,970 feet above sea level.
  • Located in Peru.
