The country Sweden is just bigger than the state of California.From the Southern to the Northern tip, Sweden is about 1,000 miles.Many rivers flow from the mountains through the forests and into the Baltic sea.Winters are long and cold and summers are short and pleasant.Most Swedes live in the southern one third of the country.

Ellis island was were people came to see more family members.Over twelve million people came to Ellis island.You had to get american money.Doctors had to put a hook in your eye to see if you had a disease and if you had a disease they would send you back.
