• January 14th 1972
• Born in Rwanda

~ Radio told Rwanda to kill their Tutsi neighbors. Immaculee happened to be Tutsi and during the slaughter she hid in a bathroom for 91 days, she survived but her mother was chopped down in front of her house and her father and brother died as well.

PATH OF FORGIVENESS

• Went to killer of parents jail cell and forgave him
• Thought of Jesus words while on the cross " forgive them for they know no what they are doing"

SPEECHES AND EFFECT

• Gave speeches around world
• Would travel to give speech twice a week
• Told children about experience
• Helped woman who hadn't spoken to mother in 20 years
• Helped man who hadn't spoken to friend in 64 years

• Published "led by faith" in 2008
