WHAT WAS MY FAVORITE DETAILS?
The detailed part in this story is the part when it talks about how Hera,Aphrodite, and Athena has a competition on who is the most beautiful goddess and they asked Paris(which is the most handsome man in the world) to pick which one was it. They all try to bribe him but Aphrodite was the only one that he took the bribe which was that Paris would fall in love with the world's most beautiful woman, which was a woman that was married to king Menelaus of Greece ,named Helen. Since, both of them fell in love with each other ,Paris had to get Helen some way some how.

Continuation of the last slide..........??
The second detail I like about this story in this unit is how Menelaus was so mad that he got his brother Agamemnon and attacked Troy. This attack grew into a war party that seige to Troy and began a conflict that went on for 10 years until they met a guy name Odysseus and finally succeeded in killing Troy and recapturing Helen.

The Iliad has so much more to it. This subject has be going on for years. Pasted on to generation to generation and it would never die out.You should like and recommend this part to anyone that can read because it has love, loyalty, hatred, confusion, backstabbing, drama, happy endings, bad endings, and also a lot of details. That's why I picked this particular part out of my whole textbook.
