WIND EROSION

WHAT THE COUNTRY HAS BEEN DOING TO HELP THE PROBLEM

• The Icelandic Soil Conservation Service has fought this issue for many years
• They have come up with an idea to revegetating the land, back to what it once was
• However to completely stop the erosion, it will take a few decades to fix this problem

MULCH/FERTILIZER

• I think the best way to protect the vegetation is to use mulch
• You get mulch (or fertilizer) and place it down on the soil and it will
• -Slowly absorb water from the rain
• -Protect it from the environments
• -You won't waste other plants to make new plants
