THE pROCESS
After testing multiple different combinations of chemicals to figure out the best possible combination. We decided on Potassium Chloride.

After deciding on Potassium Chloride we had to figure out the best ratio to get the coldest temperature for the longest amount of time.

THE PROCESS
We decided on 12 grams of Potassium Chloride and 24 milliliters of water. It stayed under 15° for 15 minutes.

The ice pack stayed cold for 15 minutes.

The ice pack will be made out of plastic
We will put the water in the balloon and the KCl in the baggie.

SAFETY
This ice pack can be safely stored anywhere.
KCl is not harmful to skin, but may cause irritation when in eyes of mouth.
For this reason keep away from children.
