THE pROCESS
- After testing multiple different combinations of chemicals to figure out the best possible combination. We decided on Potassium Chloride.

- After deciding on Potassium Chloride we had to figure out the best ratio to get the coldest temperature for the longest amount of time.
THE PROCESS
- We decided on 12 grams of Potassium Chloride and 24 milliliters of water. It stayed under 15° for 15 minutes.

- The ice pack stayed cold for 15 minutes.
- Potassium Chloride costs 17.95 per 500 grams
- .48 per ice pack

- The ice pack will be made out of plastic
- We will put the water in the balloon and the KCl in the baggie.

SAFETY
- This ice pack can be safely stored anywhere.
- KCl is not harmful to skin, but may cause irritation when in eyes of mouth.
- For this reason keep away from children.
