SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

  • Movement disorders(uncontrollable jerking)
  • Problems irganizing thoughts and focusing on tasks
  • Being unaware of their behaivors and/or abilities
  • Psychiatric disorders(depression, irritability, OCD)

TREATMENTS OR CURES

  • There is no cure
  • Some treatments available to lessen the symptoms of loss of muscle control
  • Medications available to treat symptoms can have major side effects
  • Medications to treat psychiatric issues such as anti depressants, antipsychotics and mood stabilizers
  • Physical and occupational therapies
