Toilets
Ladies & gents toilets are located:
Near the Reception & in unit 1.
Additional gents toilets are in unit 4.

Asbestos
A Type 2 Asbestos survey has been carried out.
Asbestos is present on site in small quantities.
The Asbestos is managed and risk assessed regularly.
The survey results and risk assessment are on each notice board.
Before you start work you must read the report.

Smokefree
Smoking is only permitted in external designated areas.
E-cigarettes may not be used in internal areas.

Fire Safety
Fire exits are located at the back and front of each unit.
Fire extinguishers are located at each exit and throughout site.
Fire alarm break glass points are near to each exit.
Fire & Evacuation plans are on each notice board.
The Assembly Point is located opposite the Reception entrance.

First Aid
First aid equipment is located in each unit.
A Defibrillator is stored on a wall in Reception.
First aiders are on site at all times.
Please report any accidents or incidents promptly.
Don't forget 'Near Misses' as they can lead to accidents.

COSHH
Report any chemicals or hazardous substances brought on site.
Spill kits are located throughout the site.
Report any spills or leaks immediately.
Use spill kit materials to contain or mop up spill.

PPE
Personal Protective Equipment should be worn in all areas.
Safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection etc
Contractors provide their own PPE in accordance with their contract.

BLUE BINS
Tin cans go in the BLUE bins.

GREEN BINS
Waste paper goes in the GREEN bins.

YELLOW BINS
Plastic cups & bottles go in the YELLOW bins.

RED BINS
Hazardous waste goes in the RED bins.
Used spill kit materials, oily rags etc.
When in doubt, use the RED BINS.

BLACK BINS
Non recyclable waste goes in the BLACK bins.
Food waste, plastic bags etc.

WATER
Save water
If you see a water leak, tell someone.
If you hear a water leak, tell someone.
Do not leave taps running when washing hands.
Make sure taps are turned off after use.

ELECTRICITY
Switch off lights in rooms after use.
Do not switch off lights in escape routes leading to fire exits.

GAS
If you smell gas, tell someone NOW!
Keep doors closed to reduce heat loss.
