Start smart!

Start with documents with barcodes because the data of these ones will be automatically read by the standard capture-software.

Continue with forms!

Forms are easy to automate because the data usually have a predefined format and the information stay in the same area.

Use QR-Code for returned documents!

QR-codes should be used if the customer returns documents. The document and pre saved data will be easily identified with the QR-code.

Automate the rest!

For documents with a volume greater than 5%, automate them if most of them are electronically filled. If possible validate the read-data with your database to increase the quality of read information.

Check your work!

Check if less than 10% of the documents must be manually sorted. If not, check if more automatization would be worth. An alternative is to define sorting-sheet for each organization that will make the sort.
