Don't use your real name or nickname. Also, don't use names of your friends or family. Choose a name that is unique, just like you.

If any word in your gamer tag is inappropriate or would hurt someone's feelings, don't use it.

Choose words that represent your hobbies. Make a list of your favorite things to do. These could include sports you like to play, special activities you like to do or watch.

Use an adjective that describes you.
Choose a word that fits your personality. How would a friend or family member describe you?

Think of numbers that are special to you. Choose the number of your favorite athlete, your lucky number, or one that represents something in your life.
Do not use numbers in your phone number, birthday, address, or numbers related to personal information.

Make a list of your favorite things...
This could include your favorite color, animal, song, artist, cartoon character, book or movie. Anything that you like.

Combine two or more words to make your gamer tag. By combining two or more of your favorite words, you can create a gamer tag that represents you.

Try different combinations. Play with your words. Try rhyme or alliteration. Just keep playing with word combinations until you find something you like. This will be the gamer tag that is unique- just like you!
