Taking acting classes

• Commit yourself to acting classes for at least 6 months
• If you love it, continue with it
• Watch and study movies
• Study about important acting techniques (character development, physicality, diction, and reacting) and stage plays
• Absorb everything you see

• Volunteer at a local theatre
• Go to auditions
• The more you do it's better as well as more promising
• Learn some special skills
• Audition for commercials
• Become a film extra

When it comes to auditions you'll need experience (self confidence) more than anything else.

• Embrace the learning experience of each audition
• Ask for feedback from the casting directors
• Look online for casting calls

Developing skills

Learning special skills:

• Doing any sports
• Speaking multiple languages
• Singing
• Any skills that could end up winning you a role over another actor

Marketing yourself
