What was happning during this part of the war

  • Japanese forces invaded French Indonesian territory
  • Japanese forces had mostly invaved China
  • France was taken over by Germany
  • Germany started to invade the Soviet Union
  • Germany controlled most of North Africa

How did we help before we entered the war

  • We landed $50 billion dollars to our allies during the war
  • Our biggest allies were Britain, France, the Soviet Union, and China
  • We made the Lend-Lease Act saying that we could lend and lease supplies to countries who protected us.
  • The Act was passed in 1941

What entered us into the war

  • The Pearl Harbor attack what the first attack to the United States
  • The attacked the Pearl Harbor because thats where most of our Naval and Air Force were

Pearl Harbor in numbers

  • 429 people dies on the battle ship Oaklahoma
  • More than 1,000 people died on the near by ship Arzaona
  • Around 347 aircraft ships were damaged or destroyed
  • More than 2,400 people died in the attack
